1982 saw the height of the Lebanese Civil War, propaganda and internal turmoil turned Beirut into a battlefield where life is for sale. Besieged and invaded by the invading Israeli forces.

August 4 2020 at 6:08pm, Beirut survived the largest explosion in a dense civilian area after Hiroshima&Nagasaki, the explosion was a result of the same root of racism, corruption and disinformation.
Time is distorted, the human condition has not changed.

6:08 (ليله ما فيها ضو قمر) is Kujo's single release based on these events, their relationship and continuity.

Instead of inheriting our children a lie, the same lie that we inherited from our parents
And on a night without moonlight, the dust fell on all of us from the sky
We've inherited an animal farm, we've heard this more than once, it is true we did inherit an animal farm.
We inherited a beautiful vitrine, but it's all rotten on the inside. Poverty and misery
Lebanon was all about Beirut and nothing else, casinos and entertainment, Rolls Royces and façades..you know this already
The South and the North, who cares about them, they have nothing to do with Lebanon.
That's what they used to say...Roads? they don't need them. Electricity? what for. Water? they don't need to drink. Education? for what. Hospitals? it's no problem, one death more of less won't make a difference.
Thus we arrived to where we are now..the vitrine and façade collapsed...and Lebanon collapsed.
